Does this course help me to save money on car insurance?

Yes. By successfully completing the required amount of classroom training (minimum 25 hours) and road training (minimum 10 hours) a certificate will be issued that will provide you with this discount. Please note that successful completion means that a student has demonstrated skills that will allow them to safely drive a car on their own. If more training is needed beyond the minimum amount of training, First Rate Driver will be more than happy to help with this additional training. Please contact us for information about additional car hours.

All participating insurance companies will provide a discount on your insurance premiums.

This discount is very valuable from a financial perspective. If you have an at fault collision or a ticket on your driving record your insurance company will remove this discount and increase the amount you will have to pay for your auto insurance.

Always check with your insurance company for other discounts you may be entitled to receive.
